Never Trust a Battery to do a Duracell Job
Duracell, formerly a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, was sold to Berkshire Hathaway on February 29, 2016 in a deal that was announced in November 2014. In an internal video announcing the completion of the transition, Angelo Pantaleo, CEO of Duracell, pledged to build upon the battery maker’s rich past and strong foundation and to help the company evolve into the world’s #1 personal power company.
Duracell Professional, the business-to-business division of Duracell, has announced a new partnership with the American Red Cross. The partnership will encourage businesses and organizations to improve their emergency readiness plans through the “Ready. Set. Prep.” campaign. As part of the partnership, Duracell will donate batteries that the American Red Cross will use to help safeguard its supply of donated blood.
